[TUTORIAL] AD.EXE

so i did alot of youtubeing and googleing today to find out whats wrong with my private server and alot of videos invovled ad.exe and maps


you copy it into your wow directory and run the ad.exe and once its done with all the maps ur suppose to move the folder back into ArcEmu folder and then they run there stuff before i do this im just wondering if any1 has heard of this
im not trying to advertise other ways of doing this im just a very fast learner and i like to learn thanks

I never got a problem like that :/ It worked without MAPS.

btw After you put ad.exe in your WoW Directory it make a folder named MAPS .
Add MAPS in your Repack/ArcEmu folder.

MAPS - With MAPS you will be able to discover new locations on map. So , I don't think it should be a big problem.

To be honest,

I'm going to give you rep for this, because I was a newb, and I put the AD.EXE in the Map's folder and then put the Maps folder in my wow directory, I was then finding out for 3 days why it's not working.

I then realised, you had to actually put BOTH in there, so AD.exe is in the WoWDirectory and that the Map's folder is in there as well.

Well done, I forgot about this.

Hey guys i cant find a ad.exe, were would i beable to download it?

ad.exe is only if you want to see maps ... it's optional

True.. ArcEmu is one of the most simple emus that excist.. You just need to install it and you're good to go. Something that resluts in all the bugs, errors and such things.
