[Tutorial]How to Depatch WoW

Hello, in this tutorial I will show you how to depatch your world of warcraft game db (the game).

Foreword: THIS GUIDE IS NOT MAC COMPATIBLE! Unfourutnately, the only solution I have found for a Mac downpatch is to reinstall World of Warcraft.

World of Warcraft Depatching Instructions.

Step One
Open your World of Warcraft directory.

Step Two
Open your Data folder inside of your World of Warcraft Directory.

Step Three
Delete your Patch.mpq file.

Step Four
Go back to your World of Warcraft directory.

Step Five
Open the Repair program.

Step Six
Press reset and check files.

Step Seven
Go to THIS LINK. (The words THIS LINK. are linked to the place you need to go to)

Step Eight
Once the repair is done and you have downloaded the patches manually, patch up to whatever version you wish to use (in our case at the moment, 3.0.2)

Step Nine
Go back to your World of Warcraft directory, open the Data folder, then open the folder that is contained in the Data folder, the name varies with the location you are playing from. Open your realmlist.wtf file with notepad, and delete everything that is within that file, leaving nothing, then add the realmlist that you were using to play before.

Save the file.
