hmmm peaople tend to get off topic here...i know i do it alot ...i just reread all the posts rofl...anys great job failzord on this repack it looks awesome and its even better in game

I'm really liking this repack, but there's a lot of stuff missing, that from what I've read on the forums I have to add manually. Is there a thread already dedicated on how to do this? I'm having issues finding it.

oh ....umm not realy he made the repack..but hes making all the scripts him self...hes having some tough times atm becuz his computer is being retarded..he has everything scripted were just working on about 6 realms at once........cuz were merging our servers...hard to exactly say how it is...because thers just so much stuff going on with his comp its making everyone flip out ...idk exactly how to anser ur question because usually he expects people to make there own scripts ...its kinda "heres the repack script it your self or find someone who can" lol it took me a while but i gave up and joined him ....WOW i get off topic sorry man

So as far as being able to experience raid content for vanilla and all xpacs...is there any resource of scripts already done?

When looking in his repack, I see a bunch of scripts...how do I add them? I know I have to use HeidiSQL but I'm a bit lost beyond that.

Okay, so I've gotten to the point of dropping the "Lich King 10 man" SQL file into the query editor in Heidi...now what?

Uhmmm so im trying to make my game public for my friends to play but they get a connect error. I have my No-ip set up, HeidiSQL. When they try to login they get a connection failure =X can someone please help

Change windows if your using windows 7, or make it hamachi

Try hamachi, is a lot easier

Indeed. Hamachi is alot quicker, but it does have downsides. Although it's easier to set up, player's would have to download Hamachi to join - It's alot better if you're setting it up for friends/family use, but for public, then no.

Like im using it only for friends, I got it to work non-hamachi. But the maps dont work apparently is there anything missinggg ?

What you mean maps are missing? you join the server and you cant see anything?

Uhm so like when you press m right for the world map. The places aren't getting explored so its just a big blank spottt =X.

is it bc you are on the GM Island?

nooo im not on GM island, like stormwind,barrens those maps they dont get explored its just blank

My maps are also not getting explored, I'm using 1.5

I dont know, the repack works more than fine, make sure you got visual c++ and netframe 4.0, also you dont need to extract the maps if you dont know, beacause its arcemu. If you did, reinstall the repack.

Okay so i reinstalled and downloaded v1.5. But when I try to open arcemu-world.exe I get an error saying One or more DBC files are missing..

I DONT need to? hmm. Okay that's probably my problem, beacuse I already have C++ 2010 and .net 4.0. So I don't need to do the map extractor or anything? My map extractor didn't work btw, so I just DL'd the one linked on the first page. Gonna try reinstalling.

When i try to lunch arcemu-logonserver after lunching MySQL the arcemu-logonserver disappears after like 3sec and i try opening again disappears again and again im using MegaUpload LKT V1.5 Full and i downloaded MegaUpload DBC and Maps Extractor and MegaUpload. Database DBC Can Anyone help me Please

K so I got the DBC to work but when I start arcemu-world.exe, I keep getting an error saying "LogonCommClient: Authentication failed".

If it disappears that means that your IP settings are wrong I lthink. Go into repack/ArcEMU/Config and there are a bunch of .config files

You can open these with notepad and edit the values inside. You can edit things like how much exp you'll get from quests and how often blues/epics/whatever drop from mobs.

Wait, timeout. First, did you change your realmlist in the blizz thingy to 127.0.0.1? Dunno if it matters at this stage but it's imperative later on.

Okay, back to the .config files. Look at the "Logon" "World" and "Realm" files.

There are certain IP adress values you need to alter in there. You need to change them to 127.0.0.1, and I can't quite remember if you do all of them or not. I have mine set up a tad differently so I can play on the homegroup only.
